Lakewood City Schools | Spring 2024 - Spring 2025

  • Taught full-length lessons and shorter activities to students grades 2–4.
  • Taught classes and sectionals in band classes grades 5–12 in the Lakewood City Schools, wrote lesson plans, and advocated for community arts under the supervision of two Cooperating Teachers and a University Supervisor .
  • Utilized research-based approaches to general music education, including Dalcroze Eurhythmics, the Kodály Method, and Gordon Music Learning Theory to design and implement lesson plans.

I strive to connect musical concepts to students' lives and cultures, fostering a personal and lasting appreciation for the arts.
